Good luck!! This means the world to trans people

I couldn’t agree more. My initial reaction was ‘why not’ but on thinking further, in this current climate of trans hate, I can see it being used for this (as well as an option for use by ‘the bathroom police’)- in fact it’s probably one of the main drivers.

I was talking with my women’s grassroots team last week and we find this ban absolutely disgusting. Trans women are/would be absolutely accepted by us. The FA are just cruel. My heart goes out to Emily.

The weird thing was he kept on referring to my daughter as ‘the success story’. But then went on to stop others from having that same chance. I had to conclude his mind was made up before meeting us and his actions are driven by politics or ideology, not fact.

I sat around a table with Mr Streeting, my trans daughter, who is lucky enough to have NHS gender affirming care, and other kids whose blockers have been stripped from them. He saw how my daughter is thriving and how the others are suffering first hand…and still enforced the ban. It is beyond cruel

It just shows a complete lack of care for trans kids. It also accepts that removing access to PBs will cause mental health problems when they might not have existed before hand. It’s beyond cruel.

What is the evidence it isn’t safe. We are repeatedly being told this but it’s a sound bite. I have seen no facts. It’s not experimental (been used for decades) and there is no identified harm, we’re just conditioned to accept there is ‘harm’ and then it gets recycled and held as truth.

What would a gender critical expert actually be expert in? Hate?….
