Are these plovers vain, enjoying their reflections and strutting the beach? They pause, extend a leg, and worry the sand. A circle around their forefoot looks like jiggling jello for an instant until they nab some tasty critter. Hard way to earn a living but no tariffs. #birds

I hear there's a bird feed somewhere in the Bluesky. This hermit thrush was seen at the Skolfield Shores Preserve in Harpswell, Maine. It's a Harpswell Heritage Land Trust property.
