Disabled People will NOT go quietly.

MPs have chosen to ignore the calls of disabled campaigners across the country and vote through the UC Bill.

We will continue to fight cuts to disability benefits, now and always 📣

#WelfareNotWarfare
A notice graphic. At the top, bold, white outlined text in the colours of the disability pride flag reads: "Disabled People Will not Go Quietly" followed by the DPAC Cymru logo. A divider line separates this from white body text that reads: "MPs have voted through the UC Bill despite widespread criticism and protest from disabled people's organisations." it then continues in a bolder font: "We will continue to fight cuts to welfare, now and always." The bottom of the graphic is the disability pride flag.

Thank you for supporting our open letter - 250+ signatures in one week - saying no to Stephen Timms: we want an independent PIP review, led by disabled people, without him!

A notice graphic made up of white torn paper effects and a blue-tinted background peeking through of a disability protest. Title text in a large bold font says "250+ signatures in one week!". A divider then separates the next header text, which is in blue and large but thin letters. That reads: "Thank you for your support" with a Welsh translation above it. After a ripped paper effect, smaller but still bold text says "Please sign and share our open letter!" and beneath that is a link: "bit.ly/independent-pip-review". The DPAC Cymru logo is to the bottom-right. This is presented as a black-and-white outline of four hands holding a wheel, with the text Disabled People Against Cuts around the wheel. In the centre of the logo is a black triangle, pointing down, bearing the letters D P A C and C Y M R U.

DPAC Cymru is calling for the UK government’s PIP review to be led by disabled people, not politicians.

📣 The UK Government has broken promises - and our trust. It’s time for real accountability.

✍️ Add your name: bit.ly/independent-pip-review
A notice graphic with a red tinted photograph of Stephen Timms as the background. Title text to the left of him reads: "We want an independent PIP review" with emphasis on the independent. A divider then separates the next header text that reads: "Nothing about us, without us!", followed by another divider. Body text then reads: "Please sign and share our open letter!" with an arrow pointing to a link: "bit.ly/independent-pip-review". The DPAC Cymru logo sits at the bottom of the screen.

I am sickened by the relentless demonisation of refugees.

No refugee underfunded a school.

No refugee closed a hospital.

No refugee took away support from the sick and disabled.

We need solutions not scapegoats. Stop blaming refugees and tax the rich instead!

If you're quiet about your disabilities, you get accused of being a fake. If you're outspoken, you get accused of being attention seeking.

Disabled people deserve to be believed and supported without hate. We deserve to be able to thrive.

MPs have just voted to pass the cruel and devastating UC Bill.

🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨

The Government's Universal Credit Bill has passed, rushing it through in one day, without a committee stage where Disabled people's voices could have been heard.

It's clear: the government views Disabled lives as nothing more than a cost-cutting exercise

And the Universal Credit bill has passed. Some of the sickest people in the country will suffer needlessly more now. There is no justification, no excuse. Just ugly, cruel choices by ministers too cowardly to tax the wealthy rather than cut the poor. A shameful day for Starmer’s Labour.

The government has dismissed all the charities, refused to do any risk assessments, and ignored the UN who tried to intervene this week - pushing through billions in welfare cuts that are going to kill vulnerable and disabled people.

Labour have blood on their hands, like the Tories before them.

Thank you to @zarahsultana.bsky.social for saying the names of Errol Graham, Jodey Whiting and Stephen Smith, who died at the hands of DWP sanctions.

'Their deaths were not a tragic exception, but a political consequence. The human cost of decisions made in Parliament.'
