The actual budget parts of the budget bill don't actually matter, and these slash-and-burn Republicans know that. It's the non-budget parts of the bill that codify what they're doing anyway: ignoring Congress and spending or not spending according to their whims and extremist agenda.

Given that, I wonder if they already *have* some at 90+. Israel says Iran is within weeks, so the current strikes are necessary, but they've been saying that for many years.

I was going to make a snarky comment that it would make sense for 2/3 of the process to be harder than 1/3 of the process, but in looking into it, I see that it is indeed a nonlinear process and that enriching to 60% can take most of a year, but going from 60% to 90% can be done in weeks.

What ABC should have done was to "apologize" that Moran's strong opinions might give a perception that Moran's journalism might be "biased", then given him an opinion show and a promotion. Of course they didn't.

Yes, rubber bullets can kill or cause serious injury, but they are *classed* as "nonlethal". Police and National Guard are allowed to use them (though they shouldn't be), but NG is not *supposed* to use "real bullets" unless the Insurrection Act is activated -- which is what they want to "justify".
