just the grief of it is so well done. When you’ve lost your person, everyone else seems to have an understanding but no-one understands you.

It’s SO good and it’s hypnotically well shot. The other thing I’m still churning over is the acceptance granted to a man‘s self-involved fantasies vs the rejection of Carol when she expresses anger. But then it’s also somehow often just very funny?!

The staff were very lovely but they seem to need me to come *in person* three separate times? Also so far the only place not to accept a scanned death certificate, even though they just made a photocopy of the one I took in??

The idea that users can’t know what they themselves really need is so fundamentally disrespectful. And often they’re asking for things like “just some time away from admin, please god” and what they get offered is “more admin, but now it’s AI!”

Also as we crumble into a society built entirely around traffic where direct deaths and environmental destruction are considered necessary evils to support business convenience, seriously, can you not think of a better example? Team I Just Wanted Faster Horses.

It’s astonishing for example how often the silly things users suggest that we definitely shouldn’t do are also the expensive or time consuming part that we don’t have in the action plan. Own up to your organisational priorities without dismissing your user’s expertise!
