Now it has 16 gb of ram, which I hear is a much better place to be than the built in 8gb! It was… intimidating to pop off the back case, but easy to slot in

Oh my god, you’ve gotta be kidding me SEGA… this is petty, but in my defense this is a wild thing to have done. So you can unlock an alternate skin for racers, in Sages case her red version… if you pick the alternate skin the rival trash talks, but Sages rival reponce doesn’t happen! Why SEGA why?!

Yep, sonic crossworlds is still good (played during the test), switch performance is good, but the switch 2 boost will be better… I will say festival mode while fun, just reminds me of the world tour courses in Mario kart world. Had some spare GameStop trade in credit so I decided to pick up a copy of Sonic crossworlds for switch 1, since I can get the cheaper switch 2 upgrade anyways! Plus as an added bonus because of some trade in promotions they owed me money for buying it… so neat!
Finally decided to start playing Katamari Damacy, and it’s… good, but the controls are uh… less good imo. I get that it’s supposed to simulate rolling a ball with your hands via the 2 sticks, but it crosses wires in my brain, and the simple controls are kinda worse imo. Great music though!

Finally decided to start playing Katamari Damacy, and it’s… good, but the controls are uh… less good imo. I get that it’s supposed to simulate rolling a ball with your hands via the 2 sticks, but it crosses wires in my brain, and the simple controls are kinda worse imo. Great music though!

Alright, set up my moms new MacBook Air (she’s needed a new computer for a while), got all her stuff transferred over, made dinner, and finally started the set up process for my new laptop…
Which is now updating, and at 6%… this may take a while, but it’ll be neat when it’s done! Hopefully.

With help from my mom (she’s amazing) I decided to pick up via an early Black Friday sale a “HP Victus gaming laptop”, reviews and stuff seem to say that for what I want, a basic to decent gaming laptop and ability to use .exe stuff without screaming, it should do the job, plus it’s upgradable
Ended up getting this $80-99+ First 4 Figures Mipha statue from bestbuy buy for about $35! She looks amazing, but now I have to figure out where to display her

SEGA posted some numbers for sonic frontiers and superstars earlier (but not shadow generation for some reason?) and that led me to rant to my mom about how my feelings on Sonic have sadly shifted since those 2 games, and my mom said “it sounds like Sonic needs new/fresh developers.” And I just… huh

SEGA posted some numbers for sonic frontiers and superstars earlier (but not shadow generation for some reason?) and that led me to rant to my mom about how my feelings on Sonic have sadly shifted since those 2 games, and my mom said “it sounds like Sonic needs new/fresh developers.” And I just… huh
Decided to try the free trial of Disney’s Island of illusion, and it’s fine, not bad tbh, it’s “baby’s first metroidvania” except if the Metroidvania was a relatively straight forward path… a very long path, with all the upgrades on that path. It’s worth trying— is that the hades 2 update? (Exits)

A bit late, but I completed the post game of legends ZA! It wasn’t very long, but like the rest of the game it was condensed into something really enjoyable (especially with the parts involving a specific returning character), and continues the theme of dealing with the past and moving to the future

Finished the main game of Pokemon Legends ZA, and overall I’m super happy! From the gameplay, the music, the characters, and heck, despite the internet I even thought the graphics were great!

All the back and forth about Pokemon Legends ZA is getting exhausting. Finished plants vs zombies replanted sw2! It was a good time and a lot of fun to revisit after all these years, especially with the mouse controls! They felt way better than button controls for this kind of game!
With ng+ and such I feel I got $20 worth of fun out of it! (But still screw EA)
