Get the PNG and put it into a better game like Grimrock or Stranger or Sword City. Anything that supports custom assets. You get to play as the character you want but without actually getting into the gacha. It's how I deal with it when a gacha has a character that appeals to me.

Hit the nail on the head. I thought the plot twists with the Pons was interesting but it wasn't enough to make up for the story and characters being so bleh. Probably one of the more forgettable games in the series if you ask me.

Some parts were a bit sloppy though like the subplot with Presea but I generally didn't mind. The only thing that I really didn't care for would be Lantis. Guy was as boring as drying paint and just about every time he showed up I wished the focus would go to someone else.

I do like it though. I'm really enjoying my time with 7. Not every island I've been to stuck with me but I do look forward to seeing how things unfold both when you first visit them in the past and seeing how things turn out years later in the present.

Didn't feel right grouping anime and manga together so I ended up separating them into two different lists.

Anyways I'm gonna take a short break and then start on DQ7. I hear it's super long but I'm already used to playing long RPGs so that's no big deal.

I remember when I first played Towelket Fury. My heart went out for a lot of characters and there were a bunch I wanted to wring by the neck too. Sometimes both at the same time! I think anyone that likes RPG Maker games should play not just Fury but a bunch of games in the series.
