Fun fact: The last time I've been able to keep up this kind of sustained programming activity (for a personal project) was back in 2020 when I did a whole bunch of work on my tile editor project.
The rest of the time, I'm just doing other stuff, like art, or playing video games. :P

In 20 years, when someone asks me "how did you write your music?", I can go "well I wrote this janky program to play around with YM2151 patches until I accidentally made some that sounded good."

This is what I ended up going with, because I'm using 80x30 mode. But, if I were using one of the square-pixel modes, I would've gone with the potted plant style in my earlier post.

Burger editor. Not actually Turbo Vision but similar.
I dunno, something about this big serious interface that looks like a programming IDE except it's for setting up a burger, or a hotdog, etc, is really amusing to me. :P
