Please read response below to GCSE resit 2025 situation. Not only but also curriculum approach. The resit world is rich with consequences of society’s shortcomings, society should respect this, policy makers should take note, funding priorities & infrastructure should definitely reflect this.

Annie Ernaux, awarded Nobel prize for Literature ( when 82!) adaptation of her work:The Years (on until 12th April) = brilliant. One of the best productions I’ve seen in years 😉 superb reflections on women’s lives over 60+years. STUNNING ensemble cast, music, full of resonance. Go & see if you can !

Quite a story.Joe Tucker’s ‘The Secret Painter’ on discovering his uncle Eric Tucker’s 500 paintings(after his death). Joe worked to get them recognised, celebrated, exhibited far & wide. Working class artist, Eric,left school at 14, painted ‘working class life in post-industrial northern England.’
