Today is a great day to remember: humans have always, and will always, strive and struggle and treat one another with cruelty. This is part of the human experience.

This just means there is much opportunity for growth, when we keep kindness, respect for life, and decency in general, top of mind.

What if everything that happened today was FOR you, not against?

That assumption just feels better.

We are not taught emotional self-responsibility. No one can “make you feel” anything, ever.

People say words.

You have a thought about the words.

That thought causes you to feel a certain way.

Then you act out the feeling.

Result: you create your reality based on the thought!
