This #WIPWednesday, Like I Picture You Stede is slowly getting smarter… maybe? This is for a future chapter after this week’s stuff.

Spicy reference to their work but this is basically sfw. #OFMDfic

Stede longs for the easy rapport between them—not just the sex, or the morning “practice” sex, but also the lazy showering and the very domestic sharing of toast and marmalade that tastes so good that it makes Ed moan. The smiles shared as they drank their coffee, their bare feet brushing every so often under Stede’s kitchen table.
He loves everything about being with Ed.
Banishing those fruitless thoughts from his mind, Stede watches the video a second time with a critical eye—the lighting is still slightly harsh, he’ll need to work on that—he sees what Pete and Lucius were trying to tell him.
Oh, Ed looks the way he always does, with sweet, eager eyes. That’s just him. Someone so beautiful can hardly help looking like that! He’s got the eyes of a model, or perhaps even one of the great silent film actors. Ed is always gorgeously expressive.
Stede’s seen videos of himself, both alone and with Sam, and now with Ed. “Heart eyes city” is right. Stede’s not sure he’s ever looked at anyone else the way he did Ed across the double-ended dildo, so softly and fondly. He didn’t know his face was capable of looking like that.

Stede is hopelessly, irrevocably in love. He thought he’d loved Sam, but that feeling was a mere distant echo of what he feels now.
