I just emailed the Supporter's Trust asking for a petition and a protest to rehire Ange. I feel like Levy is gonna feel justified because we aren't making a big enough stink about this. Is it unlikely? Of course. But at some point we can't keep letting him get away with this. #coys

I love this. This is so much of why I wanted Ange to stay. Outside of the football, he is a great person, a great leader. He has emotional intelligence, compassion, and belief. I felt like he understood what it means to be a Spurs fan. I loved having him as the face of our club. #coys #levyout
I’m at a media festival in Rio, & just swapped numbers with a colleague. @solonneto.bsky.social spotted my lock screen and said “you must be heartbroken…” I actually am.

I don’t often talk about football on here, but for once, I think it’s relevant.

A mini-thread on #THFC, FWIW.

Just read the Matt Law article. So in summary, they acknowledge the injuries and prioritizing the EL in our league form, a lot of players are angry, we have to pay 4 million to sack Ange, we're in line for managers that have never won anything, and most fans wanted Ange to stay. #levyout #coys

FWIW (yeah probably nothing 😂) I was at least able to message Madders on insta asking him to gather some players and talk to Levy. Sonny doesn't accept message requests 🤷‍♂️ #coys
I know it's very unlikely, but I think we should message players to stand up to Levy and get him to reverse his decision. Maybe Ange wouldn't want to come back at this point. But the players must have some power. Some will surely ask for transfers now. That is leverage #coys

Winning the Europa Leage was the first time I felt awesome about be a Spurs fan since the days of Poch. And Levy immediately ruins it by sacking the guy who made it happen. I thought he had finally learned his lesson. I can't imagine the next manager making it past 18 months at this rate #coys

Is there any way a protest at the Stadium or somewhere else could actually work to bring Ange back? He brought us our first trophy in 17 years!! I could not care less about the league form. Levy has to know how dumb this decision is. #coys

Just when I thought Tottenham could've started to build something they tear it down. What an awful decision. #coys

OK this is the first time I'm actually worried they might sack ange. What a mistake that would be given how much the players clearly love him #coys
Gold on the sweeping changes at Tottenham coming this summer. #coys

Now that Ange is back next season, we need to brush up on the Ange chant. #coys

Huh. Apparently Mason Mount was playing yesterday 😂
this is such a striking error of advance scouting

he says he started Mount in order to cover Spurs' inverted fullbacks but that hasn't been Ange's tactic for months, in Europe they've been running Udogie up and down the left touch line with Pedro Porro staying deep on the right to play longballs

Do not let anyone diminish the trophy win yesterday.

"You are 17th!"

Don't care. Trophy.

"That final was utter shit!"

Don't care. Trophy.

Spurs won a major European trophy yesterday. Cherish it. Enjoy the vibes.

And be absolutely insufferable about it to those who diminish it.

I'm sure somebody somewhere has said it, but I haven't seen it yet. I want to congratulate Ben Davies on getting to lift a trophy with Spurs. I've always liked him and he has served the club well for over a decade. And he was a very important part of this season. #coys

Leading up to the CL final, I felt like we only had that 'you never know' chance to win. Tomorrow, I feel the opposite. I am very confident we will win. We should win. It is more important to us and our players. Ange will have them fired up. Yeah, you never know, but I think we're gonna do it. #coys

I don't know what the pundits are saying, but I firmly believe we are the favorites against United. Just for arguments sake, let's say we are. When was the last time Tottenham were favored to win in a cup final?

I find the part about luck very interesting. I feel like a lot of our goals conceded lately have been BAD luck (i.e. individual errors)

Maybe I'm positive to a fault about this team. Maybe others are negative to a fault.

All I know for sure is that we are close to a cup final. Let's enjoy it #coys
I’m always happy when we win. But even in those games I’ve not been convinced we’re going anywhere. I’ve said for a very long time that sure a very few games we’ve got that lead and we manage to plow in 3-4 goals. But it’s far to much luck and coincidence involved for me to hope it for the next game

Just in case this helps anybody. Fans wanted Fergie gone too and I bet those same fans are glad the board didn’t listen then. Change takes time
Tottenham with the league double over Manchester United for the first time since 1989-90 when Alex Ferguson was in his third season. Give Ange time, just like ManU gave Fergie time. #coys #spurs #thfc
