Program manager, scientist, telemarker, outdoor lover, needs books but overall dog mum! 🇨🇵➡️🇺🇲 🏞️🌄🏔️🍺🏕️☕
Finished " children of blood and bones" I had so many reactions to the last chapters that I freaked out the dogs and made the husband laugh. Cancelled my next book to read plan, I need to start the second book!

You’ve been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who’s coming to save you?

I should be fine 🙂

Oftentimes, going to therapy, I felt like a spoiled brat who has it all complaining. I couldn't figure out "what's wrong with me". This book had so many answers and is really helping me understand myself and my reaction. If the cover resonates, read it!

In the last episode of WTF with @marcmaron.bsky.social , @barackobama.bsky.social talks about the tendency of all of nothing: if acting doesn't lead to perfection, is it worth it? But what about making things better? If it improves even a little, it's worth doing.

This book is giving me a lot to think about. Definitely seeing how my childhood influenced a lot of my behaviors. Interestingly, I think coming to the US helped me heal. Learning to interact with people who have a different culture taught me to not take things personally.

I was supposed to go to a craft girl night and I have a cold so I end up being home alone. So this is a night for watercolor, beer, Disney music, reading and dog cuddles.

Tell me I am not the only one reading several books at once... Started a new one today while I have already 3 on going... Also, I have requested 8 books from the library while I have enough books on my shelf for a year... And a bookstore opened across the street from me...

Everything good requires maintenance and support.

Every team, every alliance, every success, every community, society, town, city, county, country requires collaboration and negotiation, empathy, and a concerted effort to prevent chaos and failure.

Good leadership can do these things.

I am working from my Grandparents ' office today. It was not a space I could enter as a kid. Having that space cleaned up to allow me to work from there and being surrounded by my grandparents furnitures and objects makes me grateful and emotional.

I am reading The Let Them theory by @melrobbins.bsky.social and that book sees me. It also has a full chapter on why you should stop finding excuses to stay in that job... Definitely the right book, the right time.
