Wasting everyone's time. Old enough to know better, not smart enough to care.
Graduate student in Library Science. She/her
I remember the mad scramble for the remote when you heard the anthem come on: that was your warning the screen was about to Go Creepy And Needs To Be Off.

I hope they can help!

My best suggestion is to call your local library and explain your situation. Most librarians are good people who want to help and really want people to use the library-- that's how they get funding. They often have outreach programs like books on wheels for homebound patrons.

I'm so sorry, they're loved with our whole hearts, so it's natural that our hearts are so broken when they pass away. The price of love, but we choose it, every time, because the love is worth the loss.

This was my fear when I first read your post about what was happening. I learned about it when my cat had renal failure, so I'm obsessive now about making sure they eat.

One thing that can help is syringing baby food: ✔️ no onion, meat only. It gets some calories in, and most cats love it.

And these days you don't even have to go in: with ebooks you can check it out and read it on your device. You never have to worry about due dates or late fees, the app takes care of it!
I don't understand people.

Yeah, it's sure as fuck not front line workers wages costing them more than they can afford.

I am so lonely and so sad I know I would be the perfect prey for this type of interaction. I'm lucky to be self-aware enough to stay far away from it-- it scares me how available and intrusive it's becoming. I worry for people a little less aware of the danger.

Sleepwalking is a parasomnia-- lots of people assume it's a dreamstate, but it happens out of non-rem sleep. Sleep terrors-- where people scream horrifically-- are in the same class, and also non-rem, so this all tracks.

Honestly, one of the few people making this timeline bearable.

I didn't hear the term asexual- apart from science biology- until I was in my 30's. I was in *couple's therapy* for God's sake, partially due to my lack of interest, and it WAS NOT MENTIONED. And so I just assumed there was something wrong with me. I had no reference, no pop culture, nothing.

The desperation for a chance, a smidgen of hope, will drive people mad. And the casino and AI offer the same thing: a mirage that won't pay out, but will keep you chasing it to collapse. It's frankly perverse in the worst sense.

There are a lot of lonely, sad, desperate people right now who haven't heard a kind word from an actual human in a really long time. It is impossibly hard not to want to hear something kind, and if the only one saying it is a bot? People will go rabid for the bot. I don't really blame them.

There is now a figure skating rink in my Arizona backyard, complete with a zamboni and zamboni driver.

I liked my nordictrac when I had it, but I love the freestride elliptical I replaced it with: easier on the joints and has incline/decline functionality. If you get an expensive treadmill I highly recommend getting incline/decline on it. It really changes the workout, and you don't need to go fast.

And as a follow up, my pinned posts now appear in saved posts! It just took a little while for them to show up. I imagine if you have many, it may take even longer, so patience for a day might be warranted? But, for me at least, the tool does seem to work. 😀

Just to chime in, I had the same experience. Like you, I don't have that many, but I'm just going to give itv24 hours and see if it percolates through. (I also have no programming knowledge, but I do remember the pin taking time to work as well, so?)
