Beets with Brown Butter and Poppy Seeds, from Six Seasons of Pasta by Joshua McFadden. It was good, and beautiful, but needed something. I have some left over for lunch, and will add some feta. My husband did like it, and he’s not a beet fan! 🍽

Finished the #dutchroseblanket by #cypresstextiles ! Great pattern with lots and lots (and lots) of ends. This took me forever and I am so glad it’s done. I love the design, but I hate weaving ends😂 Unblocked (motifs were blocked before joining) 44x61. Scheepjes stonewashed yarn, Boye F hook. 🧶

12 pounds Santa Ana windfall Granny Smith apples turned into 4 pints applesauce, 3 pints apple butter, 7 half pints apple butter. The apple butter is confirmed delicious. Lots of apples left (most still on the tree.) #foodsky #canning #backyardorchard #grannysmithapples
