everyone suggesting this thing is gonna be an Xbox killer should probably rethink their hot takes because these specs put it a bit closer to a Series S than it does a PS5 or Series X. this is a baseline *entry level* piece of hardware for what's supposed to be a console.

ngl, it strikes me as genuinely insane to expect voters to take over this level of micromanagement of how the sausage is made in Congress. Not only does it sound like a REALLY bad idea for Senate Majority/Minority Leader to be a popularity contest, but nobody other than Very Online sickos even care!

ugh, she's one of the worst accounts On Here, but yeah, she's definitely correct. I'm assuming at this point that this is 100% true. I commented several times over the last week that folks were VERY likely to start folding on both sides of the aisles while flights were being intentionally grounded.

Definitely yes. Here's the actual recipe! I've never made this one exactly, but this is *very* similar to an old fashioned custard pie that I make at Xmas, and it's delicious.

Finally playing Far Cry 6 after buying a used copy at GameStop for just $5 almost two years ago and then letting it sit and collect dust on my gaming shelf. Kinda mad at myself for not trying this sooner. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why players review bombed this game. It goes HARD.

okay, I appreciate the point that is being made here, but this list is also ... mostly bullshit? all but like three and a half items on this particular list enjoyed fairly overwhelming public support when they were passed / fixed.

these are some really quick markups I sent to a former coworker over chat yesterday, and it's VERY difficult to draw any conclusions about what all was happening here without actually knowing plans, but yes, I see some very big hints that they actually fucked up what was *supposed* to be a partial.

I mean, as difficult as this is to imagine for some, there is *usually* an explanation for neurological symptoms other than "spiritual attacks." ngl, an adult child publicly talking like this about a sick parent where I live will pretty much always earn them a visit from Adult Protective Services.
