It's not a pronunciation as such (though you could distinguish the NYC and Phila pronunciations) but anyone who said "down the shore" almost certainly did not live at the Jersey Shore

I asked the google device in the house to find my phone, a task it's done without a problem for like 8 years. But today it said it had to verify my voice and set up a new profile and I had to do x y z to do that. I said something unkind. Google said my words were hurtful. This future sucks so hard
