Little circles of headache. Fender Blues Jr amps are prone to cracked solder joints on the board as there’s no through hold playing, so all the heat is conducted through minuscule pads and the solder itself until they crack.

One of my regular customers is a complete phaser obsessive and I’ve worked on probably a half dozen for him over the years. The latest batch included one of each of the original EHX Small Stone models. They all got serviced and converted to true bypass as he actually uses these.

When you work on a customers amp and see where the tubes came from, and you have to stop yourself blurting out ‘THE COUNTRY SHE NO LONGER EXISTS, JUST PUT IT IN H’.
