Not very. I’d considered doing a bass version with that as an option with a tweaked tone stack and input pad for active basses.

It was pretty cool. Was gonna do a production run of them and call them the Pirate pedal but other things got in the way. Now I’m looking to get them happening again as I found the schematics and Kicad file and have some better suppliers for the enclosures.

My personal favourite are the people who call up the shop then ask for the trading hours.

How did you find the shop number? Google? Ok, yeah, see that little section directly below the number? The one that says trading hours?

Yeah, those.

I designed a custom pedal for someone who wanted a Gilmour style tone with a stacked Rat and BMP. Made it so they were in one enclosure, could be switched orders, the BMP had switchable tone stack options and the Rat had more clipping options.

Called it the Splinter as it was a fuzzy rat.

My favourite was T Rex gooping a Spin FV1 on their modulated delay pedal like it was some kind of magic special sauce.

I still deal with amp builders who remove the values off caps and resistors, as though I can’t just measure them with a meter.
