Today, on World AIDS Day, I want to honor a generation lost too soon. I remember my friends who contracted HIV before PrEP was available, and I reflect on a time when the government turned its back on a marginalized community, doing nothing as countless lives were lost.

Yesterday, I spent a beautiful fall day at Russell Wright’s home near Cold Spring for an afternoon dedicated to collectors. It’s always such a pleasure to reconnect with friends and catch up on life.
