I kid you not, my work knows that I do drawing on the side and someone in the office told me AI could save me time and my response was "but I like drawing" and it broke them. They didn't know how to answer, they just couldn't comprehend that people make art because they like making art.

I really wish i could forget the thing my ex’s friend said about manually breathing cuz since then it’s been in my brain chronically in a bad way.
It’s been a few years and it’s like i can’t get that super specific deep breath/yawn in and then my body just reacts like it can’t breath somehow idk

It took me a very long time to learn "do your best" does not mean "give 100% effort even at the expense of your physical or mental health" or "give A+ effort even when it is clearly not appreciated or valued". Sometimes doing your best is heating up a can of soup and going to bed early.
