If you want to do anything similar, I highly recommend the "Inline Table Rolls" module, it makes everything so much faster to write. It's possible with vanilla macros but compare two generators I made, one with and one without

I used the random tables from the 2014 and 2024 players handbooks, and 2024 DMG to make an NPC generator in FoundryVTT. Never again will my players ask me what someone's name is and be met with "Uhhh.."

I have been slowly digitizing my #dnd books and material into one combined digital compendium. All written in markdown or loaded into excel sheets and accessible easily through Obsidian.
It's a slow and at times mind numbing process, but once I'm done, everything will be in one place
