This door is one of the most memorable moments in gaming for me. I remember being peppered by enemies from afar, having no ammo for anything with enough range to fight back, running to get inside to safety, only to be met by those words.

I still think about it all these years later.

I don't follow enough people so every time you retweet something from this thread I get another copy of this big nosed freak. When I close my eyes I still see him. I piss loudly just for him.

If you want to do anything similar, I highly recommend the "Inline Table Rolls" module, it makes everything so much faster to write. It's possible with vanilla macros but compare two generators I made, one with and one without

If rogue subclasses are built around sneak attacks, maybe we go so far as to make the traps the sneak attack. A lot of the 2024 sneak attack modifiers where you sacrifice damage for effects work as traps. Poison, knock unconscious, ect

What about a trapsmith where you abstract trap placement? If you succeed on a stealth check and spend a minute preparing the battlefield, you can use your reaction during combat to activate a trap you set, dealing damage, knocking prone, ect.
