The congressional map approved by Utah lawmakers on Monday jams three GOP incumbents, Reps. Blake Moore, Burgess Owens and Mike Kennedy into the same district.

If the judge chooses that map, two of them won't be able to vote for themselves.

SORTOR: I took this flag from the man that was burning it in the street

TRUMP: Do you know who he is?

SORTOR: Oh yeah

TRUMP: So why don't you give it to Pam. Give it to the attorney general and we'll start prosecutions

NEW: A Ninth Circuit panel temporarily permits the federalization but NOT the deployment of National Guard troops in Oregon, in advance of tomorrow's oral arguments.

In the circumstances here, granting an administrative stay will best preserve the status quo. Prior to the October 4 temporary restraining order, Oregon National Guard members had been federalized but not deployed. The Memorandum
authorized federalization of the Oregon National Guard members. An
administrative stay of the October 4 temporary restraining order will maintain the
federalization of Oregon National Guard members, because that order prohibits
implementation of the Memorandum. Additionally, the second temporary
restraining order has not been challenged or appealed, and it prohibits the
deployment of National Guard members in Oregon. Thus, the effect of granting an administrative stay preserves the status quo in which National Guard members have been federalized but not deployed.
Administrative Stay GRANTED.

To be clear, the President has been summarily executing suspected members of “cartels” on his say-so, on the basis of a secret legal memo from Bondi’s DOJ.

Well, the woman in this case has a state license to be a therapist but wants to do so as a Christian. She does not seem to be a pastor or pastoral counselor. Still, her methods are not sanctioned by the American Psychological Association.
drkathleenecorley.bsky.social
These are highly questionable and debunked “therapeutical” practices, rejected by American Psychological Society in the early 1970s.
drkathleenecorley.bsky.social
This goes without saying. I also work on campaigns in attack research and response. I served on Pete Buttigieg’s presidential campaign as Faith Outreach and Research Consultant last spring I did research for a friend who ran successfully for County Executive. Open to other avenues of course.

See film from PBS POV, “One Nation Under God” for Christian reparative therapies. These practitioners say their methods are new but they are not. This film is from the 1990s, but still is relevant.
drkathleenecorley.bsky.social
According to Neil Gorsuch’s logic this would be true. These reparative therapies for reversing gay, lesbian and now transgender “tendencies” go back to the 1930s to 1950s. Such “therapies” cause deep psychological harm.
