I will say that I rather like the art accompanying my article this week because I love trees and think a lot about regeneration. Tomi Um is the artist. They seem to do a lot for The New Yorker, which means I've basically written for The New Yorker...right?

Wrapped up my last campus talk of the fall semester. It was great seeing UC Riverside - I now have a visual reference for at least one UC school. The humanities and social sciences faculty didn't tear me apart :)
