@groda.eu the signs are clear. He must have a low reading ability in English (as well as ignoring the announcements on board)

@keefeglise arguably where I am (north Abingdon) the bus service is still good enough except for very late nights… I got assigned I think 25 day driving passes as a nearby resident, but I probably drive into Oxford only 4 of 5 times a year tops, so I have a strong interest in the bus getting a […]

@keefeglise it’s the most watered down scheme ever. The level of resistance is arguably bonkers. But I guess there are some people who lose out a bit for their dependency on frequent car journeys to the centre area.

October 29, 2025 at 11:25 AM
@christianp wow - can I unpack that - is it that there exists a mountain of already printed CDs that are being sold off cheaper than the (essentially entirely made up price of mp3 download) or do you think there is some kind of print-on-demand CD for the niche market of people who still want the […]

@keefeglise better meaning… bigger? Better insulated? With better transport links? With all mod cons? It’s so hard to compare, though I think I see where you are going. The baseline has improved but the housing wealth distribution has shifted away from young professionals
