Yeah, in hindsight an even worse decision, unless they were playing a very deep game and looking to incentivise a future hypothetical fragile manbaby to advance the cause of peace purely in order to score points against Obama

(I do not think the Nobel Prize Committee are “trolling Trump”, by the way. I think you are all reading across your own opinions and this is a committee of people acting out of - in their eyes - great moral seriousness, they wouldn’t be acting out of spite or malicious glee)

I can’t believe anyone was even seriously entertaining the idea that [gestures at the destroy the world guy] might have been considered for the Nobel Peace Prize. As a former winner of the Nobel Peace Prize myself, I’d have handed mine back. (At least my 450 millionth share of it.)

I understand why some people might have misgivings or question whether he’d be a good choice for PM - maybe, maybe not - but THAT’S NOT THE POINT. Right now, what we need is someone doing exactly what he does really well, as a communicator.

Seeing Zack Polanski getting himself on our screens and challenging the mainstream right wing narrative is so refreshing and vindicates the Green Party membership’s choice. This is what we so desperately needed, and nobody else was doing it.

Sometimes you learn things at work the hard way. For example, when referring to the Moro Islamic Liberation Front by its well known acronym, apparently you should spell it out rather than say it as if it’s a word.
