I’m reading The Wind In The Willows to 7yo as his bedtime story. I haven’t read it for years and I had forgotten how intensely beautiful it is, like a prose poem. Rich, dense, atmospheric. A children’s book that absolutely does not talk down to its reader. What an outstanding writer Grahame was.

Can I submit a corollary, the Ottocrat Wokeness Rating: where Z is the number of months elapsed between October 2022 (date of Musk’s Twitter acquisition) and the date you deleted your Twitter account, your wokeness rating is 100-Z. The closer to 100 the better (woker). Mine is 89. 💪

Yes I love that jumper, the colours suit my niece perfectly. The fox is also lovely, my son is crazy about foxes, he lost the first one I made so I had to stealthily make another.
