Another thing folks don't realize - asking for accommodations frequently means that you will then become the unpaid consultant for all disability issues (even the ones you know nothing about).

The other thing people don't realize is how much "suing" for failure to meet the ADA is pretty impossible. It will take years, money, and most of the time the best you will get is not money for damages but just the accommodations you should've had in the first place.

I have a 246 line spreadsheet of my interactions related to accommodations (a term I despise). I finally pretty much quit trying. It was easier to solve my own problems as best. I could than fight repeatedly for things I often never got or had to relitigate when a new person took over HR.

Black women are down 297,000, but men’s gains have surged to +621,000. That’s a 324,000 widening of the gender gap in two months—a 34% jump. Since February, the swing between black women’s losses and men’s gains approaches 1 million jobs.

Well, almost exactly right. Really they want a military that will follow them no matter what. Blindness has nothing to do with it and is a harmful metaphor.

True, but also I don't trust that folks in power of Democratic Party were left out of this decision vs. how much they agreed so long as they could message it as only some members of the party. I am not defeated but when Ds cave over and over to a party that lies, it's hard to see a way forward.

Since the Democrats worked extra hard to hide who actually supported this, I think the No Kings/Resistance position should be to primary every Democrat unless they publicly call for Schumer's ouster this week

Either they go into total rebellion mode, which they won't, or the people will
