Maybe I’m not understanding this. Trump’s tariffs on China resulted in them not buying soybeans and wheat from US farmers, so Trump is giving the farmers $1.2 billion dollars? I thought i heard that tariffs were bringing in billions of dollars? So confusing.

I just read that our new surgeon general in Louisiana is a vaccine skeptic! Oh boy. So much work to do.

Perfectly legal air pollution today in Louisiana- sugar cane farmers regularly burn their fields. I’m pretty sure open burn was prohibited about 60 years ago in NY state. Up until I was 10, my dad was able to burn fall leaves.

So nursing is no longer considered a professional degree by this administration. This has serious implications for all of us: students won’t have access to loans, there will be far fewer CRNA’s and NP’s, which will leave us all without the health care we need. that’s the new plan: let us die.
