Americans have been dragged, tackled, beaten, tased and shot by immigration agents. They’ve had their necks kneeled on. They’ve been held outside in the rain while in their underwear.

At least three citizens were pregnant when agents detained them.

People in ICE detention face extreme heat risks in conditions with poor ventilation — this will only worsen as the Trump administration works to nearly double its detention capacity.

The hottest 10% of ICE facilities see an average of 93 days of dangerous heat per year. This is unconscionable.

Fill prisons with Black men & women, use ICE to remove farm workers, then use the 13th Amendment to send the prisoners to work on farms for pennies(if that) a day. Boom, the South has risen again...I thought this was the plan all along? It seems very obvious to me but maybe I'm looking at it wrong?

However the Trump administration now tries to justify its strikes on private boats in the Caribbean, nothing it can say magically unlocks legal authority to use lethal force against civilians.

Congress must rein in this egregious abuse of power.
Trump's boat strikes are killing potentially innocent civilians. They must be stopped.
On Tuesday, President Donald Trump announced that the U.S. military had killed six people in a strike on a boat that, Trump said, was “trafficking narcotics.”
