Great interview. Does he publish his research/thoughts anywhere? Checked his firm’s website and last post was from 2009

I guess he just routed his thoughts through you since then 😂

Yeah. The flu vaccine incorrectly predicted which strain would dominate this flu season

How would you compare it to the ChatGPT Tasks experience?

Most AI writing detectors are notoriously inaccurate so this doesn’t say much

It’s also why teachers shouldn’t solely rely on them to catch students using AI

Cool game. Is this a new thing Bloomberg is doing now? First I’ve seen of it

Good on them for being honest. Not every CEO is truthful with the administration these days

I wouldn’t say it’s lost. That is the reason for Tesla being up in after-hours despite having a terrible quarter

Overshadowed by Trump’s capitulation? Yes
April 23, 2025 at 12:28 PM
“Due to lack of staff”…because DOGE fired them all
April 23, 2025 at 12:27 PM
It wasn’t only that though. People overstate how Musk’s political shift impacted the company. In reality, Tesla was in trouble even without that:
- inconsistent manufacturing quality
- outdated styles
- outmaneuvered by BYD
- EV demand decline globally
- stock price driven by unrealistic Robotaxi

China says it “will fight to the end” and we see green candles in markets all over the globe. What did I miss?

Dead cat bounce?
April 8, 2025 at 12:30 PM
Between this and China stating it “will fight to the end” when responding to Trump asking it to remove its reciprocal tariffs, I’m not understanding the increase in global markets and U.S. pre-markets

Dead cat bounce clearly
April 8, 2025 at 12:23 PM
Did they have a deal though? ByteDance has repeatedly said it’s not selling, so Trump agreeing on a preferred proposal does not guarantee a deal
April 5, 2025 at 3:46 AM
Because DOGE is incompetent. Trying to reach savings to fund the extension of tax cuts by eliminating small dollar worthwhile programs

Instead of focusing a proper efficiency initiative at the DOD, where most of the budget is spent

Insane? Yes. Unexpected? No
March 11, 2025 at 7:23 PM
That’s a wide spread. MS is biased because of the amount of business they do with Elon

Can’t even talk about potential for $200 price without including $800 as still a possibility in *12 months*
March 11, 2025 at 1:04 PM
I think those relationships will stabilize for now, but not rebound. Market will wait to see what happens with April 2nd tariff threats
March 11, 2025 at 12:31 PM
It won't be "below consensus" for long. Others will be cutting their forecasts too

The Mystery Broker started dabbling on offense today 👇
The #MysteryBroker checks in to say he went to a tactical Buy on the S&P 500 about 20 minutes before the close, with the index about at where it ultimately settled. Sees at worst a down open Tuesday then rally, expects no more than 10-12% total drop for this move.

More details when available.

It means the IPO advisor has nothing to do since there will be no IPOs happening, so joking about the need to take on work as a dog walker

Who knew the animal spirits all the VCs expected this year would turn out to be bears and tigers ripping their faces off

I thought this was a tease of its Comet browser. If that is Perplexity proper, that is a significant UI change. Interesting
March 10, 2025 at 9:44 PM
Considering X and xAI are two distinct companies, the infrastructure should absolutely be separate
