The Trump regime are not patriots.

Patriots love the American people, respect the rights of their fellow Americans, and believe all deserve freedom and dignity.

The Trump regime hates America, our freedoms, our constitution and our people.

They’re fucking fascists.

That's why I'm skeptical that Trump will be truly rebuked. The GOP *always* comes back (Reagan landslide was only a few years after Watergate)

I think a lot of people are still waiting for some big thing that finally makes it impossible to deny that we're in unprecedented territory, and outside of people who talk about politics all day, that just hasn't happened yet.

The chaos in the Twin Cities and the antics over Greenland notwithstanding, most everyday Americans have not yet seen a measurable interruption in the routines of their lives. They still largely go to work or school. There hasn't been a 1929-style stock market collapse. We're not in a world war.

Do you think this was true prior to Trump?

Do you think Congress will step in?

Also, @volts.wtf, have you heard of this book? It argues that Americans’ racial attitudes have long been correlated with their positions on other issues, such as LGBT rights and environmentalism, even before partisan polarization occurred. www.amazon.com/Roots-Polari...
