Imagine trying to explain to those alchemy folks how difficult it is and how little to do with what they were trying

We have a chapter due "in February" and my students are like "so the middle of February?" and I'm like, no, the last day of February. If they meant Feb 15 they should say it.

(In fact, I asked them for end yesterday of March and they were ok with that!)

"badly" is certainly far too common, but we can do better!

Liking DS9 best is a correct opinion. But, it's not a modern show and it's slower to get really good than we're used to now, so I'm not sure I can suggest moving it earlier in good conscience...

I've yet to watch SNW but it looks fun from what I've seen. Haven't seen Disco either. The order you're describing makes some sense given where you're starting, but DS9 is my favorite. (I watched TOS then TNG then DS9 because that was the order they were available, animated was never on that I saw!)

I'm looking forward to the next time I subscribe to it...

I mean the union episode alone

Haven't had that one yet. In case people are looking for interesting options I'll add that I quite like Brooklyn Brewery special effects (all the ones I've tried) and Clausthaler Dry Hopped.

Would like to find a good NA pils, Brooklyn Brewery had one but I haven't seen it at the shop for a while.

Relationships, so cringe

Oh yes! Good guide to what is most clearly hovering

(because self reported screen time has little relationship with actual time spent viewing screens, even in adults)

In general the ABCD study is a fabulous dataset. Here the measure of screen time is self-reported by the kids. Unfortunately that means they IMHO shouldn't have bothered if they are interested in actual time exposed to screens. (Tho I would guess that would show the same, to be clear.)
