@bsky.app anyone else having issues where videos all hang within the first 60 seconds and then take forever to load? Is there a setting or fix for buffer speeds? Happens even when I’m connected to a fiber network and only on Bluesky

Both can do the job. But w/a chemical product the formula that makes it work can be tweaked and twisted by whomever controls or pays for that winning formula.

Pritzker’s values can’t be easily changed.

What’s crazy is this whole agenda (which seems to be working) is premised on the “that immigrant wants your cookie” cartoon. We’d rather punish others we perceive unworthy (& in the process ourselves) to play the fairness game rather than accept a normal amount of fraud and go after billionaires.

Definitely mildly infuriating. I grew up in Kentucky. I now live in Los Angeles. There a plenty of liberal, leftist, anti-maga in red states. And the conservatives are a spectrum not a monolith. Forcing everything into a binary choice is what’s broken with politics and maga to begin with.

… need to oust an politician you don’t like, or sway public opinion: simply create a video of them doing any number of awful things that fit your narrative and release it as “evidence”…

We need to be increasingly cautious of materials released by anyone if multiple sources, angles, etc don’t exist.

Imagine a USA where citizens don’t just believe lies that our cities are being destroyed by the left, but convincing video deepfakes are created & spread to back up the lie.

The blurring of truth/lies is about to get really hard. …
