I'm seeing a noticable increase in follows by spam and scam accounts in the past week, which goes to show how much Bluesky has grown up! Be especially cautious about accounts like this one that claims to recover lost virtual currency. I've reported and blocked and you should, too.

Woke up this morning and the Discover feed is filled with engagement spam. Reported like 15 accounts using this same "Open Followback" format. All replying are brand new, all seem to be connected to Indonesia. Looks like a n incipient botnet. I guess as bsky grows this will be more of a challenge.
