For those who need to hear it: Dreamhost allows for hosting of NSFW content. Their TOS states: "As long as the content is legal within the United States of America, you can host adult content."

Obviously, the "as long as the content is legal" is a big thing, but it might be as good as you can get.

A lifetime of hearing humans explain their actions and thought processes has led us to believe that an AI's written explanations must have some level of self-knowledge behind them, but that's just not true with LLMs.
Why it’s a mistake to ask chatbots about their mistakes
The tendency to ask AI bots to explain themselves reveals widespread misconceptions about how they work.

There is no aborted fetus debris in the MMR vaccine, or in any vaccine at all.

It is worth noting that the Catholic Church, one of the most staunch anti-abortion organizations in the world, has a formal policy that encourages all vaccinations.

This is important. Food banks can bulk buy, and stretch that money further than you can. They also know what they actually need. Money is better!
I saw advice to buy extra cans of food when you’re at the grocery store to donate to the food bank.

I want to politely nudge you to give the money directly to food banks (or to mutual aid groups if you know of any).

We can usually stretch a dollar farther than a dollar’s worth of canned goods

Today I'm finding out which people believe that if you're part of a population that is a small overall percentage of humans on the planet, it's okay to strip you of rights.

I wonder if they have considered how easy it would be to classify *them* into a small overall percentage, and do it to them.

Another day wasted when university presidents & chancellors could have been in front of microphones. The total lack of loud public collective action condemning this & explaining to Americans why this is a complete disaster is utterly maddening.

Yep. I saved hundreds or even thousands of dollars a month just from switching from Substack to self-hosted Ghost.

I pay a roughly flat $85/month now (~$75 for mailsending, $10 for hosting), vs. 10% of all my subscription income.
Former Substack creators say they’re earning more on new platforms that offer larger shares of subscription revenue
Former Substack writers who exited the platform in early 2024 are making more money on Beehiiv and Ghost thanks to their fixed pricing models.
