I stand by my decision to leave another social media app. A web search led me to a post, so I opened the app. I was first shown two posts by friends. One a meme about how awful ICE cars are and the other a meme about natural cures for cancer. Both lies, both dangerous, and both paid for by scammers.

Yes, I’m pissed. So far, I haven’t posted much about it. But here’s a thumbnail: I invest many hours a week alongside my neighbors feeding our community. I study as much as I can stomach about how the seedy underbelly of X-tian nationalism has rotted out the core of America, and I teach others. 1/2

The sun sets early this time of year around these parts: Have no delight to pass away the time. Now is the winter of my discontent, made Hadean summer by this sun of New York. Our merry meetings changed to stern alarums, we are cheated by a creature of dissembling nature.
