TIL that Fritz Goro, the inventor of macrophotography, studied at my old university: Bauhaus University Weimar! Like many Bauhaus artists, he moved to the US to flee the Nazis. These days, they'd have to flee the other way, and Bauhaus is doing a Goro exhibition: buff.ly/SDDwvAj. Life is a circle!
