UX, Accessibility, something, something. And games. A little bit of adhd.
Today was a next day when I fixed some basic problem with very basic component suggesting that we may build that with the standards in mind, and somehow it also compliant with accessibility. Shocked.

My UX buddies - why the job market is so empty right now? Why 3-4 years ago you could find a job within 3 months, and now it seems to be impossible? #ux

Is design system make any sense?
I'm a UX designer, but I’m losing touch with Design Systems. The recent eBay Design System was impressive in presentation, but it felt the same as many others. Great marketing, but no real difference. 🧵

I let gamepass and psplus go. @xbox.com and @playstation.com just didn’t bring me any joy.

Found peace with smaller, unique indie games.

Now my gaming live is fulfilled. So much full. So much filled.

Accessibility isn’t about the size of the group—it’s about setting a standard that values every user. Those ‘few’ users often highlight design gaps others don’t voice, making the product stronger for everyone. It’s a mindset shift, not just a feature. #UX

There is no magic element for #a11y. The rule is not to solve every user problem - as much as we want to, we could not do it. But we need to create as less new challenges as possible. Design product based on simple and basic components. Don’t try to reinvent a wheel - it will only create complexity!

Great time. People experiment without rules and restrictions :D

There is a curb-cut effect regarding introducing #a11y features. Curbcut is referring to story, that after creating slope on sidewalks for wheelchairs, a lot of people started to use them since it was easier for them in their daily tasks (for example, people with kids, delivery people etc.)

If you add up all the people with visual impairments, people with dyslexia and people with "situational disabilities" like reading a site in bright sunshine or a moving vehicle, it's hardly a small audience. #ally

@jay.bsky.team I’m always intrigued - how big is ux department in Bluesky?

When people talk about the redemption arc for games such as 'No Man's Sky' or 'Cyberpunk 2077' they usually forget that the hard work necessary to shift things around was possible thanks to those games selling MILLIONS on release.

If only Embracer Group hadn’t canceled 29 games, laid off 1,500 developers, and closed seven studios.

If only.

Cyberpunk or NoManSky should failed. It’s great that they somehow redeemed themselves, but this wrong path to show as example. #unpopularopinion #ux #gamesux

State of #ux market right now. Are layoffs already finished? Is there something that we can get back to, or ux is not needed already?

What is the reason to implement accessibility in your product? Are the few users enough? #a11y #ux

Why there is so many companies that are missing memo about ux? Is there something we can do to help them?

The best place for learning #ux is playing and/or making games. That is the place where you can experiment, test and create new and exiting experiences. This is the place where you need to help user have fun, and learn how you can solve his issues
