Chabad private plane? I want to see the livery on that. The moshiach flag covering it. Tail number 613.

So unhinged.

- be a suburban-focused party in Montreal
- accept willing candidates w/o looking too closely
- forget that forcefully anti-bike people ( as opposed to people who just don’t bike) are probably anti-vax, nut jobs on some other axis
- see this happen. Again and again.

I think I’ll just put a future use sign that says “point access block, mass timber construction, no parking spaces, solar array, walking distance to Broadway tram line” on my 33x100 WB lot.

Retirement planning done the right way.

I've seriously proposed that we need to begin putting up permanent "future use" signage on vacant properties so that nearby residents can't pretend that they thought every single vacant site was going to be kept empty, or magically become a park. Winnipeg has seen this movie far too many times.

Chris Scott knows when you invest in transit, you invest in people. He's tired of seeing it underfunded. Public transit is a climate solution we want to see included in the province’s upcoming climate plan. Tell the MB gov't to act now to protect what’s precious: climateactionmb.ca/plan-to-prot...

You could probably get that funded by a US granting agency.

With all due respect to your friend, if he’s running for Plateau mayor for Ensemble Montreal, I suspect he doesn’t actually want the job.

He’d have run in a different borough if he really wanted to be a mayor.

Just like how Tesla ruined a perfectly good inventor’s last name, grok has ruined a perfectly good sci-fi word from a good (if super weird) book.

There’s so much packed into plumber2, it looks rad as hell. Serving parameterised Quarto reports off an API endpoint with a single tag… so cool!

I am super hyped to finally share the first release of plumber2 with all of you. This has been the center of my attention for a big part of 2025 and I hope you'll find it a worthy update to the venerable plumber package.

The blog post will tell you more
