There's a biography of Chris Knox out this week - the author Craig Robertson contacted me a few years ago, as back in 1995 when I was at Ak Uni, I made a half hour documentary on Chris and he wanted to see it.
Anyway, I dug out the digital file and it's now online, enjoy! youtu.be/VQjvic02S8M?...

Yeah I read about that. But there are no signs of anyone on the site. They also said in April they had signed a new contractor and they would restart work in May. Which reads like the developer is not really being upfront. The current finish date is sometime 2027 I think. Cheers

The strongest National supporter I know told me last week how worried he was that his grandson had applied for so many jobs and was still unemployed. I think this comment will infuriate even him cause he believes in work & knows people aren't sitting on the couch.

'Stop playing PlayStation': PM tells school leavers to 'get off the couch', 'go find a job'
Improving school attendance was 'job number one' for cutting future unemployment, he said.

Hi Sam, I read that story - they haven't restarted work yet. Not sure who told you they restarted in August this year but I work near there and there's been no signs of work resuming. They have reopened the sales office tho

How do you get to be a ‘business leader’ and think jobs are created by increased demand for jobs.

The audience applauded as Luxon asserted that the 400,000 people wanting work or more work would actually fit perfectly into the 20,000 available vacancies.
He then urged young people to have some get up and go. Parents looked worried by this comment - how would they afford to get their kids to Aus?

Unemployed school leavers need to “get off the couch, stop playing PlayStation and go find a job”, Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has told Rotorua business leaders.

The audience applauded his “tough-love” message yesterday, linking the city’s high unemployment rate to poor school attendance.

Che Fu's album 'Navigator' went to No. 1 on the Aotearoa Album Chart this week in 2000, staying there for 3 weeks. Fun fact: 'Misty Frequencies' is a reference to the days when he’d tune his radio to 95bFM to catch Murray Cammick’s... audioculture.co.nz/profile/che-fu

Since they are in the mood, flinging some money at www.imva.co.nz would actually make all kinds of difference as hospo takes a repeated & prolonged kicking from this Government's economic bed shittery. Overseas corporates on the beg seems to be all they can process.

Tell you what tho, the 70,000 plus people who left for australia are definitely not going to concerts in NZ. Nor are all the people out of a job. Or the people barely making ends meet whose housing/food costs are taking up all their income. Or the people who are sick all the time.

The first Auckland Jazz Jam at Cupid yesterday afternoon was lovely. It's an open stage where anyone can get up and join the band. The kid on guitar had such a great energy – when he left later, he literally skipped down the road.

Look I don't know how I missed this but here's another one to add to my list of reasons to hate this guy: he truly DOES use blue Comic Sans in his official prime ministerial emails #nzpol
"CML" sending his emails to his "team" in blue Comic Sans like some sort of SERIAL KILLER

I have a friend with a PhD in Art History and most of her doctorate was in the chemistry labs and working with lasers (her topic was conservation focused). But importantly she started with loving art and art history at high school.
