Unrelated but we were wondering if we could attend a few days at the Cannes Film Festival since it’s being held while we’re around. But, while I can likely get accredited based on my job, my wife certainly can’t, real bummer. Oh well, gives us time to explore so much of the region while we’re there!

I especially rooted for one couple who ended up getting together. I was ecstatic, and even got teary eyed (which my wife always makes fun of me for) & if they’re still together, wish them the best.

The show was pretty well done too. The heightened tension of never knowing whether somebody got your memo to meet, or was unavailable due to prior engagements, was a concept we simply have forgotten in our regular lives. You really end up leaving a lot up to fate, which was a strong theme throughout

Both the English and Japanese versions of Medabots S1 are marked as OOP on the website and have been for a hot minute now.
Dunno if this also applies to the rest of the show, but wouldn’t be surprised if this was the case

Well, lucky for him, we weren’t allowed to include the dub on the Blu-ray version 😆

As if we needed any more…
I hope the very last time I’ll ever use that damn site was for the Caggy steelbook.
I was hoping never to use it again before that, but alas

We spent the last few days compiling a big list of pretty much *everything* that was delisted, & it came out to be over 100 titles… many of which were not OOP, as stated in the announcement.
Just want to give a big thanks & props to our community for helping us out with that big list. You guys rock!

A preview for Hotori.

You might notice something different and perhaps unexpected in the preview...

Hotori is getting an English dub!

The clip is a bit shorter than the full preview, but it's what fits on BlueSky.

Forgive me for leaving a public reply to your public comment on a public announcement on a public social media forum. So silly of me!

I get that but just because you personally bought an old disc doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be allowed to upgrade when the chance arises. I’d understand the feeling if it was like, a few months, maybe even a year. But we’re talking close to a decade.
You’re not obligated to buy the new one anyway, so 🤷‍♀️

It's a two-disc set.

I mean, the SD-BD came out nearly 7 years ago now. Is that not enough of a gap?
