Watching this thriller with Alfie Allen playing a teacher in a comprehensive school who lives in this massive bloody house AND has a second furnished property he's keeping a kidnapped teenage girl in. In this economy?!?! On a teacher's salary?!?!

My favourite movie of 2025 is "Die My Love" directed by Lynne Ramsay & it has my favourite performance of the year from Jennifer Lawrence. The support cast includes Robert Pattinson, Sissy Spacek, Nick Nolte & LaKeith Stanfield.
It's rare for me to say a film got under my skin, yet Lynne Ramsay's "Die My Love" did. It’s as chaotic as it is haunting & it's up there with the best of the year. Jennifer Lawrence's performance is raw & terrific.

Honourable mention goes to Madelaine Petsch (The Strangers: Chapter 2) & Rachel Zegler (Y2K) as both actresses deserved credit for carrying two of the worst movies I watched last year.

Looking at my photos from when I went to the Netherlands all these years ago, does make me want to find that love I once had for photography because I liked nearly every photo I took with my 35mm film camera.

I don't see an issue with "Best of the Year" or "Worst of the Year" list. Why can't people celebrate what they liked & talk about what didn't work for them again, especially if they aren't hateful & have fair criticism? No one is making you read something that doesn't affect you.

Going through my 35mm photos from when I was in the Netherlands, & found this one. Dogs are great & this one was great. Reminded me of one of my old dogs & I think had the same name too.

Decent teaser for Lee Cronin's The Mummy. I liked his previous work "Evil Dead Rise" & "The Hole in the Ground", so hopefully, it's more interesting than other modern retellings of monster films like "The Invisible Man" & "Wolf Man"
Some things are meant to stay buried...
