This is all to say, I think God fashioned us to long — no, ache — for the great feast. The forever table. The glorious gathering of us all. I think maybe when we have so many people right in front of us—but we’re missing that one or those several that—maybe it’s part of being created in his image.

Tree is finally up. We went out and got a fake one bc look how late we are 😂😂.
And I realized we don’t have to be “fake tree people” or “real tree people”. We can have a fake tree and still get a real tree sometimes bc we have free will 🤣.

Did you know you can just roast mini marshmallows over your advent candles when you’re doing the reading and it makes it like 400x easier for kids to hang in there and listen all the way through
