Considering Trump's mental decline, at what point in this presidency was allowing him to continue being the president legally considered elder abuse?

To everyone confused by this administration's justifications in anything they do, remember that corporate executives believe in decision based evidence making. "Just make a business case / justification" is just corporate speak for "make it up"
This is how business is run now and morons wanted that.

Hanging out with my partner, getting pulled in to Traitors. I have many questions about this among us style game show, but only one is important. How does Alan think "murder" is spelled?

The Chicago area cardiologists associations must be busy this year. Holy shit.

Being an adult is weird. You have to start considering the fact you shouldn't eat a ball of burrata during the week so you can be comfortable while having responsibilities the next day.
Also being an adult is just living with the consequences of your decision to eat two balls of burrata.

We used to be a country that successfully impeached a president for receiving a blowjob from a side chick in the Oval Office; now, you allow one to be highly intertwined with child sex traffickers, terrorists, and have an extensive criminal rap sheet that reflects sex crimes against women…..……….

eventually politicians need to start advocating for criminal and civil penalties for people involved in fabricating stories to get citizens incarcerated.

or, put another way: a society that would like to keep functioning has to discourage baldfaced lying, especially by authorities

Yo, Northrup Grumman engineers, you need to start talking to your Boeing counterparts about unions. As a profession, this is the most leverage you'll ever have for the foreseeable future. There aren't enough engineers in the country to support procurement from how companies are run now.

Sitting in the backyard with the pups while it is nice out right before the storm hits. At least, it would be nice except for the cricket 20 feet to my right that is chirping exactly like my work phone. I don't need that stress right now.

I'm already imagining the South Park episode where JD Vance and Satan are carrying Trump's body around "weekend at Bernie's" style.
August 30, 2025 at 11:30 PM
Just realized, I have forgotten what jd Vance looks like, my brain can only recall the meme. Then I realized that Trump also forgot what Vance looks like and posted the meme Vance. Why is the rise of fascism so weird?

Can everyone please stop saying we are living in unprecedented times? That is false. These times are very precedented. Please, please read 1925 to 1939 German history. Anything, you'll start finding parallels.
Donald Trump’s strikes on Iran were unprecedented, and the repercussions are impossible to predict, David Remnick writes.
Donald Trump Bombs Iran, and America Waits
The U.S. strikes were unprecedented, and the repercussions are impossible to predict.

I have a strong feeling that some speech writer in the current administration is just asking an ai to put a positive spin on the onion headlines at a 3rd grade level, then sending it unchecked to be a press release. I wouldn't be shocked if this headline is the basis for today's press release.

Algorithm based news feeds really show me how susceptible to rage bait I am. I click one PC gamer article where it is just whining that a thief game is coming to VR and now most of my gaming feed is vr game whining articles. I'd rather read about these games from less insufferable journalists.

I recently learned the proper spelling of Dorothy after not paying attention my entire life. What the fuck? Two O's... And not next to each other. Then when trying to find out how this came to be, Google's ai just gaslights me, stating there is only one O in Dorothy.

Anyone else watching The Handmaid's Tale this season just realizing how normal this show seems now? Heads of Gilead are just a bunch of corrupt hypocrites in a power grab using fear mongering, promotion of misogyny, and performative toxic masculinity. Why isn't this ridiculous anymore?

I just finished my first session of VRNoid after picking it up then forgetting about it. It is a fun little game to get moving a bit in the morning. It left a very good first impression with a good touch of nostalgia for an elder millennial. Combining arknoid and air hockey just feels right.

On 21 March 1933 Adolf Hitler was officially sworn in as chancellor of Germany. The same day he pardoned 8,000 Nazis, who had committed violent acts, starting with the failed Hitler coup on 8 November 1923.

Any gamer couples attempting to get in to co-op games?
My partner (claims she isn't a PC gamer) suggested Grounded on Christmas. We have now played around 90 hours together.
She loves the crafting and design aspect, and the non human enemies. Any other survival game suggestions as follow ups?

Just a friendly reminder to everyone reading about veterinary pistols and how they are designed and intended to put down sick or wounded animals. They are designed off of the Welrod, which was specifically designed and intended to put down Nazis and associated fascists.

Watching some American horror stories with my partner, and a Starbucks coffee ad comes up. I'm sorry Hulu ad services, I do not appreciate coffee ASMR at 7:13 pm, I am tired and wake up early. You'll have much better luck at 7:13 am.
Spot on with the Peter Stormare commercials for black ops 6 though
