yeah like god forbid an Ivalice-based game focus on some lower class struggle. as we all know the royals and nobles are the only ones with real agency in this world

yeah but that's still subjective, and left you wanting more, didn't it?

let him fade into obscurity, raise up more deserving creators. Storm King has done great stuff so far, with perfectly respectful, appropriate tone, dissecting what's thematically interesting about specific aspects of the world and story.

This was one of my standing small criticisms, I do still wish there was some small breadcrumb to Act 3, but hearing their whole intent behind it being the way it is I find it totally agreeable. Everyone who's gotten enough and doesn't care will miss it, everyone else will keep digging and get to it

the average is by definition the average, what a pointless statement. the sentiment I keep seeing around this game is folks lamenting that they're hard locked out of enjoying it due to not having its required "skill level" as if developing a skill past a certain point is literally impossible

this is such a spot on comparison. creative arts people have been shouting for years that being "gifted" is not a real thing, it is solely hard work and focused practice. if you have average human capabilities to learn, observe, react, then 100%ing Silksong is not impassable by any stretch.

I'm pretty sure 99% of the players do have the motor skills. I feel skill level is essentially the "talent" myth of drawing: people assume is innate when it's just that people learn to draw by drawing a lot. I feel like my gaming skills are caused by experience not by being naturally talented.
