a huge perk of a Steam Machine I'm not seeing talked much about is not just letting us sidestep the restrictions of consoles, but also circumventing the smart TV ecosystem, acting as a media box with total freedom from subscriptions and ads.

I conceptually don't like difficulty options in games, not in any gate-keeping way but merely the thought that something I'm playing has been sliced up into alternate versions of itself is an itch in the back of my mind. and I'm consistent, I don't like Steel Soul existing.

I forced myself through his Silksong video just to be sure, and yeah he's as bad as ever. still unfunny jokes forced in every few minutes, many dumb misinterpretations, gaping holes, overlooking huge areas while taking time for irrelevant side stuff, and generally a weirdly disinterested tone
very pleased to see this come to fruition. similar to what happened when Elden Ring dropped, an explosion of smaller creators rapidly churning short form stuff out while the former main lore guy toiled away on a big carefully crafted video too long and faded to the background
I hope this new era of hollow knight has any content creator besides mossbag rise, I'd love some lore videos to watch not riddled with cringe matpat style joke attempts

I'm pretty sure 99% of the players do have the motor skills. I feel skill level is essentially the "talent" myth of drawing: people assume is innate when it's just that people learn to draw by drawing a lot. I feel like my gaming skills are caused by experience not by being naturally talented.
