This may be the "tankers going west" moment of last night's op.
The constant presence of the gator carrier + ARG hinted at possible landings for months. With the deck seen clear (and the air wing mostly at Ponce/Mercedita) there was no indication air ops were in its near future.

I have to stress how highly unusual it is for the most powerful military on the planet to be blowing up random boats in international waters.
I can’t help but feel that several criminal charges will ultimately come from these strikes.
