I'm just asking because after the past couple months being full of censorship issues, I've been feeling pretty anxious about whether or not I'll be able to continue posting NSFW art in the face of all of that. I'd just like to know if things could turn out better than expected.

I'm not saying that this isn't an issue, but I just want to know if this is truly as bad as people are making it out to be. Couldn't Bluesky already remove people's art for being "non-consensual" since it technically goes against the current guidelines.

I've been seeing a bunch of people worrying about the new community guidelines, specifically about depictions of "non-consensual" sexual activity. I agree that a rule like that could certainly be used to censor artists, but isn't that rule already in place? See v. in the current guidelines.

I understand that I'm already putting my art out on the internet for free, so it's not really an issue that this is happening, at least on the surface. People are just seeing my art in a different place than where I uploaded it. I've even noticed more activity on my account lately.

It's come to my attention that art from my Bluesky account has been uploaded to e621 without my being consulted about it. Thankfully, my art was credited to me, and it even has links to their corresponding bluesky posts, so it's not like I'm being plagiarized or anything, it just feels... weird.
